What do I need to do to attend a Chicago City Council meeting?  

 

The City Council usually meets once a month on a Wednesday, beginning at 10 AM in City Council Chambers, 121 North LaSalle Street. Visit City Clerk of Chicago | (chicityclerk.com) for more information and to reserve seating.

How can I get Alderman Beale to speak at my event or community organization?
​

Alderman Beale is eager to meet with all constituent groups, pending his availability, of course. To schedule Alderman Beale to speak at your next meeting, send an email Ward09@cityofchicago.org with the details of the event.

Is the Alderman available for walk-in appointments?
​

Alderman Beale hosts "Residential Night" every Monday between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM.   Residents are welcome to walk in and meet with the Alderman on a "first come, first served basis". Residents must have a government-issued ID with a 9th Ward Address. Residential night is for residential concerns. All business inquiries must go through the Greater Roseland Chamber of Commerce.

Please note on rare occasions, Residential Night is canceled; please call the office on Monday afternoon to confirm.

How often does Alderman Beale meet with the community to discuss the happenings in the ward?
​

Monthly Ward (Townhall/Community) meetings are generally held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for Aug, Nov, Dec, Jan) at Pullman Presbyterian Church (550 E 103rd Street) Please call to verify for the schedule is subject to change without notice.
