The Department of Streets and Sanitation sweeps the city’s streets from April through mid-November.

The city hangs bright orange temporary parking restrictions the day before sweeping service is scheduled to begin. Those who fail to move their vehicle between the restricted hours, between 9 am and 2 pm, will be eligible to receive a $60 ticket.
