Back 2 School Illinois (B2SI) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to create and support educational opportunities that enrich the lives of Illinois children. We do this in a variety of ways, one  being the granting of $2,500 scholarships to five deserving college-bound high school seniors to use for their freshman year of study. We believe that education is the key to America's future, and these scholarships will help unlock brighter futures for deserving and dedicated students. These scholarship's are provided by and named after the Community Currency Exchange Association of Illinois and The Tufano Family.

The Chicago Public Schools is partnering with the Chicago Police Department to promote excellent student attendance. If you see any children hanging out during school hours instead of attending school, please call the Chicago Public Schools Truancy Hotline at (773) 553-4000.

Together we can make this effort a success.
